I've noticed that recently sometimes ads do not show in certain cities.
I am working hard to figure this out.
Most of the time, it seems ads DO show.
Take into consideration the following factors when posting. Any of these could put up red flags.:
1.) IP address (Not sure if this is a huge factor with small amount of "powerposted" marketing)
2.) Cookies on your computer (Not sure if this is a huge factor)
3.) The frequency of your postings -- how quickly you are doing them one after another.
4.) The HOSTING of your image.
5.) The anonymous email address option - turned off, on, or leave out..
I am currently seeing success with my postings when I do not make my email anonymous (via craigslist). My images are hosted on my godaddy.com server. I am not sure how successful Photobucket still is, yet.. I am still pretty sure it DOES work.
I am going to test this further and should have more results soon.
When testing, you must consider many factors at once.. almost like addressing symptoms of an illness.
My product was designed to work around CL filters, but, as they change their filtering, SOME issues will and do arise. I will do my best to keep you all posted.
But for the most part, my process still seems to work..

Hi, just came across you site to see what others are doing on CL that are heavy posters....
let me share some of the basic wealth
answers in order :
1) IP's ... you can not post more than 30 ( +- 3 ) from the same IP address.
2) cookies are no factor when you have your own registered account
3) you can not post more that once every 3.5 minutes ... any faster and you are caught
4) weird, but this has never been a issue, I would advise you to have images in a few different servers if you are really worried ( the cost for hosting is 9.99 per month, so do it if this is an issue )
5) turn it off always. and make sure it matches your registration address. ( turn on your spam filter since it will get bombarded. )
when I post, I am posting about 300 to 500 post per day.
I have 20 CL accounts 7 PC (bought used with wireless cards ) and 20 IP's. I carefully work at this so as not to abuse CL and limit my post to exactly the right section. I don't think in the past 3 years I have been flagged more than ten times.
spamming CL is a great way to get you IP's blacklisted real quick. and Proxies don't work too well. and if I see you are abusing my posted section, I'll flag you too. ( with 20 ip's I get you flagged fast ) I might post 2 times to the same city and section, but I get those people that post car's from Miami in the LA section, those just need to be eliminated ( I spend 1 to 3 hours cleaning up sections just to increase my chances that my ad is seen.)
and for those that ask " what right do I have to flag " real easy, I provide a legit post to a specific section and very targeted ( CA. - most cities - by dealer - by make - by year - by price ) I don't need to see a post for a Las Vegas car in this section ( or a travel ad for that mater ). if everyone did what i did you would increase your targeted sales many-fold.
